DIET
With regards to diet andy eats pretty healthy. He thinks protein is essential for two reasons. One its great for repairing and building muscle and two it fills him up for longer so he is less likely to eat snacks through the day.
A typical day includes protein in every meal. He eats his 5 a day and tries to avoid junk food altogether. but because his normal diet is so healthy he doesnt mind the occasional take away or drink when he feels like it.
TRAINING
Andy Phillips is a personal trainer and class instructor and is presently the Fitness manager at LEGUNA health spa in Cardiff, Wales.
He says his shape is mostly down tot he hard work he put in during university where he trained most days very hard.
Andy prefered lifting heavy as for his body type it provided the best results. Using 8-10 reps with a traditional split, chest/shoulders/back/legs as well as playing football 3 days a week (for his fitness).
since uni andy has kept in shape by teaching body pump classes, running clubs and body combat.
